Q: Is this camp developed and run by Simeon Jackson and will be coaching and attending the camp?

A: Yes - all week.

Q: How do I register siblings?

A: Please send us an email first at info@s1macademy.com if you require registering a sibling . There is a 15% discount on Siblings bookings.

Q: How do I reserve a spot in the camp?

A: Registrations is first come first serve. The registration form must be completed and paid online. click on pay link, select the location you will be attending and follow payment process. A confirmation will be sent to your email address confirming you spot.

Q: How do I make an online payment?

A: Payments online are made via a secured stripe and paypal platforms. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. If you have problems paying with our platform, please contact info@S1macademy.com

Q: What is the client Cancellation & Refund policy?

A: If you choose to cancel, we must receive written notice via e-mail to info@S1macademy.com no later than 48 hours before the camp start date. (with confirmation of receipt from us), you shall receive a refund subject to the following cancellation fee of $50.00.

There will be no refund if:

  • If you cancel under 48 hours prior to  camp start date

  • If the player does not show up

  • Full refunds will be issued if the camp does not go ahead minus any processing fees.

Q: When will the uniforms be delivered?

A: Kit will be delivered to players at camp check in

Q: What age is S1M STRIKER ACADEMY CAMP for?

A: All Players ages 8-15 of all abilities 

Q: Who are the main coaches?

A: Simeon Jackson & Jamie Lodel

Q: How do you arrange training groups?

A: We will create groups based on age and ability

Q: What is the ratio coach/player?

A: 1:12-14

Q: The practice field, is it natural or artificial?

A: Artificial

Q: What to do in case of inclement weather?

A: In the event of bad or unpleasant weather, players will be asked to leave the field of play to sheltered areas. 

If the camp is cancelled after starting you will be contacted and asked to come and collect the player. In this event no refunds will be issued if the camp can not continue or cancelled for reasons beyond our control (i.e bad weather conditions etc)  

Q: What happens if a player is showing symptoms of Covid-19 whilst attending camp? 

A: Any child appearing to develop symptoms while attending camp will be isolated and parent(s)/guardian will be called to collect the player. No refund will be possible at this time.

Q:What happens if a child tests positive for Covid-19 whilst attending our camps? 

A: If a child tests positive for Covid-19 while attending the camp , The player will not be able to return to camp, and no refund will be possible.

Q: Are parents allowed to visit during training?

A: Yes, parents are allowed to attend and watch providing they don’t interfere with the sessions and are in the designated areas. 

Q: Is lunch included in the camp cost?

A: No, all players must bring their own packed lunch and snacks

Q: When do participants eat lunch?

A: Between 12:30-1:30pm

Q: What does each participant need to bring?

A: Players must bring: 

  • Soccer cleats suitable for astro surfaces, Individual water bottle, packed lunch, 

  • Training kit top, shorts, socks shin pads

  • Healthy snack, isotonic drinks such as Powerade, Gatorade, etc.

Advised to bring:

  • Suncreen, spare training kit top, a wet top, 

  • A reminder Lunch is not included. 

Q: What if my child wears eyeglasses?

A: All players that wear glasses are required to wear protective sport goggles during each session

Q: What will happen if my child gets injured during the camp?

A: In the unfortunate event that a player gets injured, one of our staff will assess the injury and you will be notified.

Q: Behaviour required at the camp - code of conduct?

A: Each Camp requires each student to show respect to all staff and other players. Additional rules may include the following,

  • No mobile phones may be used during training and Camp activities

  • There is no smoking, no alcohol and no drugs. Only medication prescribed by a doctor may be brought to Camp and such must handed to staff on arrival with instructions for usage

  • No pocket knives or weapons are permitted at the Camp

  • No fighting or swearing; no stealing; no bullying, either verbal, physical or social

If a player breaks the rules of the “Code of Conduct”, the player will be sent home and all costs incurred will be met entirely and paid for immediately by the parent/guardian. To be very clear, there shall be no refund of any Camp fees if your child is sent home due to Code of Conduct violations.
